Ruth completed a BA in Special Education in 1977 and Masters in Learning Disabilities in 1991, both at the University of the Americas in Mexico City. Then she began as a teacher at the University delivering subjects related to her education such as "Introduction and Methodology in Learning Disabilities". During the same period,  she was the Supervisor for Therapists in this field at the OIRA Clinic. She was able to deliver courses in several schools in the area of Methodology In Reading and Study Skills For Teens. In 2000, she completed her Masters in Family Therapy in ILEF.  

She advises parents and teachers on issues of family relationship and is currently using the model of Dr. Neufeld's paradigm in private practice in therapy for children and adolescents and parents and teachers consultation in her office or Skype.

Ruthie facilitates Dr. Neufeld´s Vital Connection, Helping Children Grow Up, Common Challenges, Making Sense of Adolescence, Adolescence and Sexuality, Teachability Factor and Alpha Children in Bosques de Reforma, in Mexico City.
