Genevieve was a Neufeld Institute Faculty Member for many years before she died in 2024. She was a social worker and therapist by profession, practicing in the Ottawa area. She leaves behind her husband, Mathieu - the Institute director for the French language - as well as three children and one grandchild. Genevieve accepted every challenge given her with unflinching coursage right until the very end. She has left a gaping hold that is truly a tribute to who she was as a mother, grandmother, wife, teacher, therapist, social worker and child whisperer. Although the challenges she faced in her life were always daunting, she kept on dancing with so much dignity and determination that it seemed like nothing could ever stop her. Perhaps this will be her truest legacy, that nothing ever will.
