Behind the Neufeld Institute is a dedicated and diverse team of individuals who bring the Neufeld Approach to life around the world. From our faculty and facilitators to parent consultants and language directors, each person plays a vital role in helping others make sense of children through a developmental and attachment-based lens.
We have a remarkable team of dedicated staff who share in the vision and commitment of the Neufeld Institute. Our staff are all knowledgeable about the content of the approach as well as the workings of the organization.
Our faculty come from different countries and have diverse backgrounds and professions. Their extensive studies in this approach have included a personal two-year internship with Dr. Neufeld. All are actively involved in teaching and practicing the approach.
Our Language Program Directors are a very special group of motivated people, all of whom have studied with Dr. Neufeld personally and all who have a passion for making this material available to parents and professionals in their own cultures and languages. A brief description of the various language programs is available in the About Us section.
We know that parents often need support translating the material they have learned in our courses into the particular scenarios they face with their children. Our parent consultants are all dedicated and credentialed professionals with extensive training in Neufeld's attachment-based developmental approach. Please consult their own professional websites for specific information regarding rates and availability.
In addition to our Faculty, we have a hand-picked team of individuals who have all studied extensively in Dr. Neufeld's approach and have not only demonstrated their mastery of the material but also their ability to support the students of our courses.
Our Course Facilitators at Large are dedicated individuals who have completed extensive training in the Neufeld approach and have demonstrated both deep understanding and practical application of the material. Many facilitate courses in their local communities or professional contexts and remain active in furthering the reach of this developmental paradigm around the world.
Our Adjunct and Associate Faculty are experienced educators and professionals who have studied extensively in the Neufeld approach. While Adjunct Faculty no longer hold full faculty roles, they continue to support the Neufeld Institute through occasional teaching, mentoring, and contributions in their fields. Both Associate and Adjunct Faculty bring their deep understanding of the attachment-based developmental model to enrich the broader reach of our work.
The professional associates of the Neufeld Institute have all trained extensively with the Institute as well as served with us in the past, some including that of faculty. We very much appreciate that they use their current professional stature and following to support the Institute where they can.
