The task of turning children into adults has never been more daunting. An adolescent is neither child nor adult – and therein lies much of the difficulty, turbulence, confusion, and challenge. They need us, yet need to not need us. We are their best bet, yet their instincts are to resist us.

This course is being offered in a Scheduled Class format on Thursdays from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Pacific Time. The course will start with a pre-recorded orientation session one week in advance of the first live class on January 30, 2025 and will run for 10 weeks.

Registration & Course Delivery:

We are trying out a new course delivery platform for this Scheduled Online Class offering of Making Sense of Adolescence Part I (it is called Simplero). If you’ve registered for courses or events with us in the past, registration will look quite a bit different.

  • For those who currently have access to the Neufeld Virtual Campus and are looking forward to extended time on campus, we’ve got you covered! You will receive a study pass to BOTH our campus (to access additional resources and any courses that you currently have access to), as well as to Simplero, where this course will be housed. You will not be receiving access to this course through our original Virtual Campus - but you also won't be missing out.
  • Brand new students will receive a four-month Neufeld Virtual Campus study pass to explore our campus library resources, including audio and video recordings of Dr. Neufeld’s presentations from around the world, Q&As with Neufeld faculty, written articles, stories, and more!
  • If you’ve taken scheduled classes with us before, you will be receiving all of the familiar campus course components, including live (Zoom) faculty-facilitated support sessions and access to a Discussion Forum.

For COURSE DETAILS and to REGISTER, use the registration button on the left-hand side of this page to visit our Simplero course page. Registrants will receive Simplero login credentials and course material access one week prior to the first class. If you have any registration questions please don't hesitate to contact our office
