Jackie Hann, B Ed
Teacher
Sylvan Lake, Alberta
Course Facilitator

Jackie is the parent of two adult children and has been married for more than 30 years. She has been an elementary school teacher for over 30 years in central Alberta. She continues to work as the teacher in an inclusive education classroom supporting the emotional and social needs of students. She also teaches health and wellness in all Kindergarten thru grade 6 classrooms. Her role also includes supporting classroom teachers, support staff and parents. Jackie is passionate about helping teachers and parents make sense of their students/children. Ten years ago, when she first heard about Dr. Neufeld and the attachment-based developmental approach, it spoke to her heart about what was missing in making sense of the struggles so many children were having in classrooms throughout her school. As a Course Facilitator, Jackie’s goal is to help adults make sense of the children in their care.

Jackie offers the Making Sense of Aggression and Science of Emotion courses to school staff, parents and community groups.
