FOUR DAYS WITH GORDON
A Destination Event presented in-person by Dr. Gordon Neufeld
August 8-11, 2022
Parksville, British Columbia, Canada
We would like to announce a four-day summer 2022 destination event for our people… – limited to 65 seats only … back to the Bayside Oceanfront Resort in scenic Parksville. We titled the event Four Days with Gordon.
We realize the title is unusual, but when we asked Gordon what he would like to speak to in a four-day summer destination event, his immediate response was … “one day on ‘music and emotion’, one day on rest for the anxious, one day on couples and parenting, one day on the alchemy of sadness, one day on stress and trauma, and oh yes, one day on the ‘fifty shades of shyness’.” We’re not sure of his arithmetic, but we’re sure that he won’t disappoint on what he ends up delivering. He will undoubtedly weave something old in with something new, and present it in a way that novices can understand and old-timers can deepen their insights. Besides, it will give us a chance for some togetherness that is much rarer now that our annual conferences are likely to continue online. We are expecting a liberal sprinkling of Neufeld Institute faculty as well.
Located on Vancouver Island, Parksville is a wonderful recreational area and a great place for family vacationing. We will be arranging some social events during the week, so that we have the opportunity to connect with each other and with each other’s families.
We hope you can join us for an inspiring week of learning and interaction!
