David Fung, MSc is a Kelowna-based Individual, Couple and Family Psychotherapist; Life Coach; Educator; and Consultant. He has a background in Family systems, Postmodern Psychotherapies, and Attachment-based therapy approaches. David is a past member of Dr. Neufeld’s faculty and has worked with the Neufeld material for the past 12 years both personally and professionally. A charter director of The Learning Circle in Family Therapy, David is on the faculty of The Okanagan Learning Circle Institute for Family Therapy. As an experienced clinician who has practiced for more than 20 years, he has worked in a variety of settings (ie. private practice, agency, hospital, college/university, church) teaching, supervising students and therapists-in-training, facilitating groups, and providing consultation and therapy. David is an Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a member of the Canadian Registry for Marriage and Family Therapy. His personal passion is for his wife and children aged, 12, 10 and 8. He has a playful style and a natural ability to connect with his clients.
David offers Dr. Neufeld’s courses as both presentations and facilitated video-courses for parents and for professionals who work with parents and children. He provides presentations and workshops for parents, educators, counsellors and mental health professionals. In his private practice David offers counselling at his Kelowna office. He offers therapeutic counselling for people dealing with couple or family relationship challenges, anxiety, grief and loss, separation, divorce, depression, existential crisis, life transitions, or family of origin work. David offers parent consulting both in his office, and by phone or Skype. David is available for short talks and half or full day presentations to parents, parents & professionals, and educators.
