Meet the staff who make it all work

We have a remarkable team of dedicated staff who share in the vision and commitment of the Neufeld Institute. All our core staff have completed the foundational Intensives and so are knowledgeable about the content of the approach as well as workings of the organization.

 

Tamara Strijack, MAour academic dean and campus principal
Tamara is a counsellor by training, farmer by choice, with two teenage daughters to keep her on her toes. She oversees all things to do with our campus and our courses, including course development and delivery.
Genevieve Schreier, MAdirects our facilitator training program
Genevieve came to us with a graduate degree in international relations. She oversees our certification and diploma programs for course facilitators as well as manages Dr. Neufeld’s schedule and engagements.
Bria Shantz, MAmanages the registration for our continuing education courses
Bria is a high-school teacher by day and mother of two all the time. In her spare time she takes care of processing registrations and handling campus access for our students.
Christie Mackie, MAmanages campus subscription and advanced course qualification
Christie is a counsellor by training and mother by instinct. She takes care of our campus subscription program and the qualifying process for those who wish to take our advanced courses
Ria Toffolimanages our products and finances
Ria is a bookkeeper by trade and mother of two adult children. She takes care of fixing our books and managing our sales.
Joy Neufeld B.Edmanages Gordon and our staff
Joy is a retired school teacher and in many ways the heart of the Neufeld Institute. She is the one responsible for taking care of Gordon. She also takes care of the staff and oversees the myriad of inquiries coming in from our website.
Sara Easterlymanages our online presence
Sara is trained in handling authors & public relations. She is also a mother of two. Sara tries to make us show well on the internet without being too showy.
Roderick Young, MSmanages the technical infrastructure
Roderick is a biologist by training, nerdy by nature, and involved father of three. He is responsible for creating and maintaining our technical infrastructure.
Braden Neufeld, BSdesigns and manages the Neufeld Institute websites
Braden is an engineer by training and an inventor in spirit. He is responsible for capturing our essence and displaying it on the web.
Celena Krahnassists our academic dean and manages our international courses
Celena is a mother and the kind of assistant that makes you wonder how you could have done without. She also works with our international directors to help interface with our organization.
Shauna Phamacts as our virtual receptionist as well as managing our event posting and registration
Shauna’s three children have all grown up so she now uses her seasoned mother instincts to take care of those who come calling.
Anna-Marie Krahn, BAassists our director of facilitator training
Anna-Marie is a writer, librarian and adventure seeker. One of her adventures is working with us.
